Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a ride when I drop my Vehicle off?

Yes, please let us know if arrangements need to be made.

Is there a guarantee on your PDR repairs?

Yes, we guarantee that the dent will be repaired at least to the level that we promise in our estimate.

Will my insurance company cover repairs at Auto Fashion?

Yes, our work is approved by insurance companies in Manitoba (MPI) and Saskatchewan (SGI).

How often should you detail your vehicle?

To protect your vehicle from the harsh weather in Manitoba we recommend getting your vehicle detailed every 4-6 months.

What is Paint Protection Film (PPF)?

The paint protection film is an invisible, thermoplastic urethane barrier applied to painted surfaces of new or used vehicles to protect the paint from stone chips, bug splatters and minor abrasions.

What is Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic coating is an extremely durable and long-lasting protection that chemically bonds to the paint and glass of your vehicle. A high-performance coating will protect your vehicle's surface from UV rays, environmental contaminants, scratches and swirl marks while providing a high gloss finish.

What is Paint Correction?

Paint correction is a multi-step process where we level your clear coat to remove scratches, swirl marks and oxidation leaving a high gloss finish on your paint.

How much does a dent repair cost?

If the repair is covered under your insurance company you will be responsible for your deductible unless otherwise stated by your insurance company. Otherwise, the price varies according to the size, shape, and location of the dent. A basic door ding smaller than the size of a quarter in an uncompromised area can range between $90-150. Roof dents and other compromised areas/panels are generally more costly due to the required access. Check out more on our services here.

Can I get an estimate by phone?

We can give a ballpark price but without seeing the damage a price given over the phone is not a valid estimate and no guarantee can be given. Estimates only take a couple of minutes, so we encourage you to drop by the shop.

Can I e-mail you a picture of my damage for an estimate?

Yes, you are welcome to email a picture of the damage however, to receive a valid/accurate estimate we encourage you to bring your vehicle in to be accessed. An appointment is not necessary to receive a quote.
